I was planning on staying at another hotel in the area but they kept jacking up the price. I decided to give the Quality Inn a try and I'm glad I did.

This is a two-star hotel. It's clean, and you get a comfortable bed. Heck, they even give you a free breakfast...all for under $100 a night including all the taxes. What's not to love about it!

Pretti is the manager. She's a hard worker. You'll probably see her doing all sorts of things around the hotel. She's super nice and very helpful.

The hotel is about five minutes outside Omak. There's not much near there, which is great, because it's quiet.

The rooms have a mini-fridge and a small microwave.

If you want to save some money and get a good night's sleep, I say yes to Quality Inn & Suites Okanaogan-Omak.

We are staying at the hotel as I type. Check in was fast and efficient. The rooms are well cleaned and the pool was spotless. This is our seventh night in moderately priced hotels across seven different states on a motorcycle trip. This was the best experience by far. Such a nice hard working couple.

"This place is a shit-hole Randy." To steal a great quote from Trailer Park Boys. Do not stay here.

I checked in last night. The outside landscaping and buildings are a wreck. The pool is closed with green slime and there are weeds and rocks. I thought it was closed. There are signs that there is a night club open a few days a weeks but there is no restaurant or bar.

When I checked in, the lobby had lots of fans going because it was hot. Made it real noisy. The front desk guy, although friendly, could not read my license so he had me read it to him. There was no way for me to register for my room so he had me sign my name on a blank piece of paper. He handed me an electronic key with my room number on the key: not the sleeve of the key but the actual key.

The room is dark and smelly. The water tasted like diesel. It is smelly.

      Don't stay here.

When I checked out the printer was broke. I did get an emailed receipt.

Pros: comfy bed and cheap room.
Cons: it is a shit hole.

Check in took forever even though we had paid online in full. There was probably 10 people in the lobby when we got there and no one really seemed to be doing anything. We got our room key and went upstairs. The place is definitely run down but the building itself isn't the worst.

Let me start by saying...pets are allowed at this hotel. We checked out the pool on our first day and it seemed nice enough so we went swimming with our dog. There were signs everywhere about pool rules and such but nothing at all saying we couldn't have our dog in there. The owner came out a few minutes later and told us our dog couldn't be in the pool. So we took him out and sat with him on the leash while the other person went swimming. A few minutes later, the owner came back and yelled at us saying that "ONLY HUMANS HERE! I'M SERIOUS!" So we apologized and said we misunderstood and we thought the dog just wasn't allowed to swim. The owner didn't care at all what we had to say and just asked us for our room number and walked away.

We left for the day and didn't get back until 1130pm. When we got back, the owners had deactivated our room keys. We went to front desk and had to call the owner. A lady came out (obviously the guy who yelled at us previously didn't have the balls to come talk to us). She said that we didn't tell anyone we had a dog and I told her that no one asked. There are no signs anywhere and nothing on the website indicating we have to tell the hotel we have a dog. It just says dogs are allowed. So anyway, she says it's an additional $20/night for a dog. So I got out my card to pay and she wouldn't take my Monday and told me to come back the next day. She reactivated our key and we went to bed.

The next day, same thing. We left for the day and came back around 11pm only to find our room key had been deactivated AGAIN. We called the owner and of course he sent the lady out again instead of growing a pair and talking to us. She tried to tell us that our key didn't work because it was next to a cell phone or debit card. Which has been known to happen but the key worked just fine to open the outside door so that's BS. This time she again tells us that we have to pay $20/night for the dog but this time she took our money and reactivated our key.

I understand that there are extra costs associated with having a dog at the hotel. However, if you're going to throw a fit and deactivate our keys because we have a dog, then you better take our money when we offer it to you the first time. If you expect your guests to tell you that you have a dog at check in, maybe ask them or put up a sign or make it part of your check our process on the website. If you want your guests to play by your rules, then make your rules known.

As a parting note... this hotel is connected to some banquet rooms. The second night we were, they were hosting a quincenera which was incredibly loud. It lasted until at least midnight. You could hear the DJ through the walls. There were people running up and down the hallways. There were people causing a scene in the parking lot. When we woke up the next day, there were empty beer cans and trash everywhere outside.

10/10 would NOT recommend this place.

As a decade long diamond member of choice hotels, I have stayed in a couple hundred of their brands (e.g., comfort inn, quality inn) but this hotel is terrible. The sign says " newly renovated" but our room was just awful. Stains, worn furnture and carpets, and even a faucet where hot was cold and vice versa. We cancelled a second night.

I would give Quality Inn Okanogan 0 stars if it was a choice. The room we rented was foul. The bed overs were dirty, the chair had something dripped all over it and had not been cleaned. The accent pillow looked like it had some sort of grease covering it. Our curtains were sewn together. Our city view was non existant. The room had a dirty smell to it. Management was lazy and rude.
We had booked two nights and cancelled the second night. Management said we had to go through bookings.com to request a refund for the second night.
Breakfast was minimal. The sausage was burnt. Food items were not being replaced.
We could not use the pool due to high winds (Never heard of that excuse)
Run don't walk away from this nightmare. We had family staying at the Omak Inn and had a way better experiance.

The hotel is under relatively new ownership, I believe. We enjoyed our stay. The room was nice, but the bathroom area was definitely first-class!

Dinner options were few - but there is a trailer set up as a kitchen next to the hotel, and the food was quite good and worth the price. Pulled-pork tacos, brisket burger, and a "Norse Dog". Businesses in this area, especially restaurants, have dropped like flies due to the COVID-19. Take note if dining options are important.

Breakfast was plentiful - serve yourself. Belgian waffle iron, pastries, cereal, eggs and sausages. I made two trips to our room, but apparently, you can have room service deliver! We left full and happy. You can sit at socially distanced tables, but I only saw one couple do this.

I wondered to myself why Quality Inn was the only hotel in the Omak area not sold out that night. I found out. First off, when I called in for my reservation, I asked for an upper floor, when I arrived, they had no idea about that. They only had 1 upper floor left, but the key was in a different spot than the rest. That made me wonder as well. I put my stuff in the room and came back later that night. During the night, I woke up to a horrible toxic smell in the room which seemed to be coming from the AC unit, which I quickly turned off. This helped a little. In the morning, I opened the curtains only to discover a bullet hole and cracked window. Upon exiting the room, I noticed police crime scene evidence tape (about a 2 inch piece) still attached to the door frame. What had happened in this room?!? And why was it still like this?!? The front desk girl didn't know anything about it. The breakfast looked like week old food and nobody was eating. Lesson learned about why every other hotel & motel was booked but this one was half empty.

BEWARE- Total dump. Air conditioning is ancient and not cool enough for summer. Checked into my room, desk lamp doesn't work and I need to do some work. I call the front desk and I'm told I have to wait because her husband/maintenance is on the road. I let her know I have work to do and ask to switch rooms. She says they're full (it's Tuesday and this is in the middle of nowhere). I ask to talk to the manager and she says she is. Horrible experience from the start.
Also restaurant is no longer open though it shows on the website.
Funny thing is there is a card that says if you're unhappy to call right away so they can make it right.

I stayed here for 2 nights, I always leave my AirPods on the nightstand at any hotel I stay at. When I came back the second day after maids cleaned the room, my AirPods were gone. The hotel was no help in this. Don't stay here cuz your stuff will go missing. Also, lotta mold smell goin on, pretty much everyone in the breakfast area was coughing next morning.
