Our Mr. Matsura Screening & Meet the Film Maker

A feature documentary, is the story of photographer Frank Matsura, who journeyed from his native Japan to live in rural Washington State in the early 1900s. The son of a Samurai, orphened at an early age, Matsura was raised in Tokyo in the early Meiji Era, emigrated to Seattle as a young man and eventually made his was to Okanogan County. Join us for a community screening and meet film maker Beth Harrington at the Omak Theater in downtown Omak. Donations to the Okanogan County Historical Society suggested. Doors open at 1:00, film at 2:00.
