Salmon Meadows

A primitive campground with surprisingly appealing amenities Salmon Meadows was opened by the CCC in 1937 and provides a memorable destination for hiking, camping, and horseback riding deep in the heart of the Okanogan backcountry. A network of multi-use trails provide easy to moderate terrain for hiking, running, and horseback riding. The Angel pass trail is a moderate 1.3 mile hike with an 800’ elevation gain while the Muckatuck Trail provides 4.4 miles of “delightful backcountry trekking” with a 1125’ elevation gain.
