Alta Lake State Park

alta lake

With a 60 foot dock and more fish than you can shake a stick at - this lake is a favorite among our local anglers. Enjoy exploring the fishing holes at each corner of this beautiful destination lake.

Chances of catching rainbow and kokanee does hold up very well throughout the summer months. Check out the boat launch facilities at the State Park or the gravel launch and cabins hosted at the private resort.

conconully lake & reservoir

Conconully boasts two of the greatest fishing spots in the county! Trout fishing is excellent, nice access to wonderful facilities nearby, and great camping too! Both bodies of water also host other fun fish species for kids to catch, like large & small-mouth bass. There's also a Fishing Derby this Opening Weekend!

Conconully Lake & Reservoir

pearrygin lake

Just outside of the town of Winthrop, Pearrygin Lake has treated anglers to good trout fishing for many years. Families make their opening day fishing adventure to Pearrygin an annual event, with several generations represented in their party. Expect rainbow of mostly 10 to 13 inches, with a few over 15. There are even some brown trout caught at Pearrygin. There is very good bank access for anglers here, and a boat launch at the WDFW access on the lake. Boaters will also find launches at the State Park and at Jeffery’s Silverline Resort.

Spectacle lake

A special little place, this is one of the rare lowland lakes that is opens  April 1st! Spectacle Lake is just northwest of Tonasket and offers many opportunities for fun outdoor recreation including, of course, fishing! Stocked regularly by WDFW, the lake also includes the "usual suspects" of Rainbow, Kokanee, Bass, Bluegill and Perch. This lake also has a boat launch, baseball diamond, and campsites on the north western end. Plus, Spectacle Lake Resort on the east end! Bring the family and your fishing pole, we'll see you at the lake!

Pearrygin Lake

Wannacut lake

If you like trolling for rainbow trout in the summer months, Wannacut is a great choice. The lake is deep so the trout keep their firm condition through the warmer months. The rainbow range in size from 10 to 12 inches and carryovers run to 14 inches and longer. There is limited shore access, so it is an ideal place to take your boat, float tube or pontoon boat. There is a WDFW access on the lake and Wannacut Lake Resort offers camping, cabins, store/restaurant and a boat launch. Wannacut Lake is just four miles southwest of Oroville on Wannacut Lake Road.
