Driveway Butte Trailhead #481

Trailhead is located just of the road to the Klipchuck Campground, off of State Route 20. This trail is described as a steep, dry and dusty, and eventually travels through a previously burned area. History of the butte was that it was originally a fire lookout, so the views are expansive and worth the effort of getting there. It is suggested to pack plenty of water and start your hike earlier in the day. If you are hiking in with your dog, there is a creek that runs with cool and clear water for them to get a drink.
