Memorial Park is the city's main festival grounds and the center of summer activities. It is the location for the Apple Pie Jamboree, jet ski races and Hydro Classic boat races. The park is a natural rest area, with restrooms, free showers, pet friendly lawns and trails, picnic shelters and waterfront views. It has curbside parking for day use and overnight stays.

The visitor center, museum & city hall are on the north end of the park and the Monument to the Methow, center of the June Salmon Bake, on the south end of the park. The Riverview Pavilion is located in the middle and the main connection point to the pedestrian mall and downtown businesses. The park also has a waterfront trail that connects Ives Landing Park and the Methow Boat Launch.
