Embarking on a journey to Okanogan Country opens up a world of exciting opportunities along the way. For a delicious taste of the area, don't forget to make a pit stop at the Lone Pine Fruit Stand, where you can indulge in fresh, locally grown produce that captures the essence of Okanogan's agricultural bounty.
Continuing eastward, take a break at stunning Lake Chelan, offering watersports, vineyard tours, and lakeside relaxation. Lake Chelan is the third deepest lake in North America. The lady of the lake ferry will take you on a 3 hour boat ride to Stehekin, if you’re up for the adventure. The site is completely off grid and has a famous bakery for all guests to enjoy once you have completed your voyage! Check out Lake Chelan, it is a must.

Explore Pateros Memorial Park, nestled along Lake Shore Drive, and revel in the stunning views it provides of the Columbia River. This park is not only a prime location to witness boat races but also offers a host of amenities, including clean restrooms, a children's play area, a scenic walking path, and a touch of local history and culture. Past Pateros Alta Lake offers campground rental, boating opportunities, and offers a roped off swimming area throughout the summer. Great spot to kayak, canoe, and enjoy some peace and quiet just minutes away from downtown Pateros.

Further along the route, the Grand Coulee Dam presents a colossal engineering marvel that's worth a visit. Don't miss the Dry Falls Interpretive Center to learn about the prehistoric floods that shaped the landscape. For a taste of history, swing by the Fort Okanogan Interpretive Center! They are happy to offer insights into the fur trading era, and answer any questions you may have. 


Venture into the realm of legends and mystery by exploring Bigfoot lore in this area, which adds an exciting and curious element to your journey. En route to your Bigfoot adventure, be sure to make a pit stop at the Espresso Chalet. Enjoy a rich cup of aromatic coffee and take in the atmosphere before continuing on your exciting quest to encounter the mysteries of Bigfoot. 

For nature enthusiasts, the Bee Bee Bridge Natural Hiking Area provides an excellent opportunity to stretch your legs and immerse yourself in the serene beauty of the outdoors.
