Spectacle Lake is just northwest of Tonasket and offers many opportunities for recreation including, of course, fishing! This year opening day is April 1st, ahead of the general lowland lakes opener of April 24th. Washington state maintains a convenient boat launch on the western end of the lake. It includes a vault toilet, plus there's a beautiful day-use area and baseball field nearby! This year the state has stocked Spectacle Lake with Tiger Trout, in addition to the "usual suspects" of Rainbow, Kokanee, Bass, Bluegill and Perch. Bring the family and pack a picnic, we'll see you at the lake!

Spectacle Lake Resort

Located on the east end of the lake, Spectacle Lake Resort is a beautiful park-like destination for fishing and fun! In addition to lakeside accommodations, they also have boat rentals, a small store with tackle, drinks, and grabby food. Other popular activities at the resort include water skiing and tubing, swimming, wind surfing, wildlife watching, and just plain relaxing. Golfing is nearby too!
