Not into Skiing?

There's something for everyone at the Loup! Try checking out the Wild Wolf Tubing Hill, or try your hand at Luge sledding— in fact, the Loup is the VERY FIRST area in the western U.S. that offers Luge Sledding. Snowcat service to the Upper Bear Mountain trail system provides access for Luge sledders, featuring a ride up of 5 km and more than 1200’ of elevation gain. The Bear Mountain trails are accessible from the Loup Loup parking lot, allowing for Luge sledders to ride more than 12 km of groomed trails.

The Loup also has great terrain to explore if you'd rather bring your snowshoes! And don't forget about their beautiful Nordic Ski trails as well. Find something fun for everyone in the family at Loup Loup!

Have you checked out the Luge, yet?

Take your sledding to the next level by experiencing Natural Luge at the Loup.

Natural Luge is another recreational option at The Loup for outdoor winter enthusiasts. It differs significantly from Olympic Luge, which uses artificial banked tracks, while Natural Luge uses existing non-banked groomed trails. The Loup offers free instructional clinics on how to Luge safely on steerable sleds. It’s easy to learn, challenging to master and exciting to ride.

After the instructional lesson, a snowcat service takes guests to the top of Upper Bear Mountain trail system and features a ride up to 5 km in length and more than 1200’ of elevation descent.

Bear Mountain Luge at Loup Loup Ski Bowl is accepting reservations now!
